With a mission to alleviate hunger and support vulnerable communities, it delivers thousands of food packages each year, transforming lives across the state.

- In December 2025, from the 1st to the 23rd, Tonye Cole, alongside his wife Dr Sylvia Cole, reached over 5,700 families across 23 communities in all 23 local government areas of Rivers State through the REACH Foundation.

Sahara Foundation
The Sahara Foundation at Sahara Group was established under Tonye’s leadership, with a commitment to allocate a portion of the company’s profits to charitable causes. It continues today under Sahara’s new leadership and remains one of Tonye’s proudest legacies.
Enactus Nigeria
Tonye proudly serves as Chairman of the Board of Enactus Nigeria, part of the global Enactus network. Enactus Nigeria empowers university students to address social, economic and environmental challenges through entrepreneurial action.
Slum2School
Tonye sits on the Board of Slum2School, a volunteer‑led development organisation working with children in underserved and remote communities across Nigeria. Through access to quality education, entrepreneurial training, and additional support, Slum2School helps young people realise their potential and contribute to lasting social change.
Behavioural Health Institute (BHI)
Founded in 2018 by Tonye, the BHI Institute is a leading non-profit focused on advancing mental and behavioural health. Through research, training, and technology‑enabled care, the Institute works to improve access to quality mental health services, address the root causes of behavioural health disorders, and support prevention and treatment in a stigma‑free environment.
